Doctoral Studies at the Department of Biomedical Sciences of the International Hellenic University were established in 2020 (Government Gazette 3489 / τ.Β ́ / 24-08-2020).
The PhD is an academic title, which certifies the elaboration of original scientific research and the substantial contribution of its holder to the development of science and knowledge in the scientific field of Biomedical Sciences. In the research field, organized and free original research is encouraged with the motivation of promoting science with new data, methods and practices.
